Amy Larson on Biskrah

Amy Larson lives in Topeka, Kansas where she trains and teaches through the FEI levels. Her mentors have been Felicitas von Neumann Cosel and Willi Schultheis. In 1995 she won the Region 4 Grand Prix Championship on Biskrah, an Oldenburg gelding she trained. In 1997 she earned her USDF Gold Medal. We are honored to have her visit and give clinics at the Equitation Station.

[blockquote cite=”Kris Hammer, trainer/rider”] Amy Larson’s instruction transforms horse and rider into dance partners. She is detail oriented, and she helps you without making you overthink or doing all the work in your partnership. Like Kathy, Amy believes in creating a solid foundation so riders can advance. I remember Amy saying to me, you can fake your way up to second level with the tricks and shortcuts other riders & trainers use. But you will stop at that point, because the only ones that can achieve more are the horse & rider with the correct and solid foundation. [/blockquote]
