The Equitation Station
The Equitation Station is a full-service equestrian facility located in Hastings, Minnesota, 30 minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. The farm specializes in dressage and breeding Arabian and part Arabian sporthorses, but horses (and riders) from all disciplines are welcomed. The farm offers a heated indoor arena, full-size outdoor arena, pasture and box-stall board, full- and part-time horse training, private riding lessons, and frequent visits from guest clinicians including Amy Larson, Helena Espinosa, Adrienne Lyle, and more. Founded in 1984, the Equitation Station is woman-owned and independently operated by Kathy Mueller.
Since 1998, Kathy Mueller has been crossing her Arabian mares with the top producing warmblood stallions in the US and Europe, producing sporthorses that are sensitive, agile, intelligent, and responsive. As a breeder for the Oldenburg association, Kathy is a 2 star (out of 3) breeder having at least 5 premium foals and having bred at least 3 horses with high scores competing at 2nd level dressage and above. The farm has produced 8 national champions, 8 reserve national champs, and more than 30 national top 10s in dressage.
